Ballet
From beginner to advance levels, the Shelley Shearer School of Dance offers a wide range of classes for any new student in Winnipeg. All instructors are qualified professional teachers who bring years of experience to each class in order to safely guide students through the art of Ballet.
We follow the internationally recognized syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Designed to enrich our students Ballet experience, you’ll find that we ensure the highest level of instruction and individual attention for each student, beginner or advanced.
At the beginning levels, students learn the foundation of Ballet technique. Proper dance posture, positions of the arms and feet and how to properly turn out their legs. Whether recreational or working towards a professional dance career, Shelley Shearer School of Dance is proud to deliver the highest quality Ballet program to everyone. Every student’s year culminates in the annual performances in June at the Winnipeg Centennial Concert Hall where everyone becomes a star. We’ll see you on stage!
